Clinical Networks  support Integrated Care Boards (ICBs)  to deliver the ‘triple aim’ (proposal contained in the Health and Care Bill 2021).

The ‘triple aim’ applies a common duty for all NHS bodies to have regard to:

  • The health and well-being of the population
  • The quality of services provided to individuals
  • The efficiency and sustainability in relation to the use of resources.

Clinical Networks drive clinically led change and service improvement, tackle inequalities and for improving population health.
